Friday, August 14th, 2009Most people eat unhealthily, these days, (especially those who cannot say no to food), even those who are calorie counters because they do not always eat the correct foods anyway. Perhaps this wouldn’t be so bad but they also ate food that should be thrown away because it is out of its safe selling period. The triple chocolate gateau is sitting there on the kitchen table and you just can’t resist. Yes, tons of us do this, it’s called instant gratification; many of us do not even know what a health supplement is. Studies of healthy adults taking human growth hormone are limited. Although it appears that human growth hormone injections can increase muscle mass and reduce the amount of body fat in healthy older adults, the increase in muscle doesn’t translate into increased strength.
That may sound rather far fetched but many people do this but I would always warn against such irresponsible behavior. Perhaps it’s time you started thinking about looking after yourself with some health supplements. This isn’t as bad as you think because these are generally very good for you. I always get angry when people tell me that they hate the stuff, and yet they’ve never tried it!
You should always try a thing before you blurt out that you can’t stand it; you aren’t being asked to eat a slimy frog now are you? You see many health supplements come in wonderful flavors such as vanilla and chocolate. Personally, I take two types of supplements and one of those is a multivitamin that I’ve been taking for so many years I have lost count. I see no reason why everyone shouldn’t take some form of vitamin supplement each day as they don’t take up any of your time but give a great deal in return.
The second health supplement is a whey protein shake which I started taking a little while back. I suppose it’s the fact that you get so much protein and goodness from what is essentially a milk shake. The best thing about it is you can drink it at almost anytime although I enjoy mine around lunchtime. The other benefit is that they add about 30 grams of protein which really benefits muscle growth.
You often hear people saying you can’t have good without bad but that’s not true with today’s health supplements because they have removed everything that’s bad for you. Things that you are warned about consuming too much of like saturated fats, cholesterol, salt and sugar, to name a few, aren’t in them. I would suggest you have a look on the internet to see what health supplements are on offer, try them for a while and just see how good you feel.
